Sorry folks, no updates as of late. I've been really swamped with homework so I literally have no break to draw for fun. Good news is that I'm learning a TON of things and when summer time comes by I'll have new and exciting works for you! Woo?

*coughs* Sorry. I'm so emotionally charged right now. I feel like the girl who waited (for over a year!). I'm dreading Reichenbach because I don't know which direction Moffat and Gatiss will take it to. I bet they're going to troll us because these two don't like to wrap things up in a nice bow. No sir. (Is there any room for The Great Hiatus and The Empty House in the end? IDK. Ah!)

Firstly I want to thank those who follow, lurk, comment, reblog, watched, faved, collected, and PMed me on DevArt and on Tumblr. You all are such wonderful people and encourage me to keep improving and having fun while doing it!

Secondly, I want to thank the wonderful fandoms that I've participated and lurked about for the duration of my self imposed life vacation. The Sherlock, Doctor who, Cabin Pressure, Walking Dead, The Ringers... always The Ringers, and the Nerdists fandoms kept my mind occupied and the inspiration flowing. You guys don't know how much that means to me because my brain has the habit of dipping into the black pools of despair and self doubt. (Slash is a good distraction hahahahaha.)

Last but not the least, I want to thank my friends (the new ones too) who put up with my crazy ass. It's been a wild ride and it's good to know on who I can count on.

Ah, my two loves. But I have to say coffee because there's something about the smell of coffee that makes me so freaking happy. Chai Tea Latte is the only exception.

Too many to freaking count! I can't even... huh... hmmm... I think every time I cry in public and I do that very rarely. MUST SUPPRESS THE TEARS!

Zoolander. Hands down. Can quote that bitch all night.

Here's the thing folks. In January I'll be moving and heading to a new school to get my masters (hopefully!) and maybe then I'll be less of a hermit. We'll see. So first of all I want to thank all of you who have supported me in this wild and slow ride that is my deviant art page. I thank you thank you thank you. All of you Sherlockians, Whovians, and other peeps who share the same passion as I do. British Programming and all around nerdisms. So yes! Thank you again.

Now some of you know that I'm obsessed with The Walking Dead show. I'm an idiot who hasn't read the comics yet (I'm saving up for school ;___; That was a bad excuse, I boo myself). So I'm tempted to do some Walking Dead fan art (AKA Daryl, Daryl, Daryl). Oh man... I have such a crazy school girl crush on him... he's so BAMF. Usually I go for the genius type but man...

As you guys can tell, I've been experimenting on comics and I've seriously fallen in love with the media. It's just so much fun!

Well, today I went to Borders with my friends hoping to get a good deal on whatever art book that seemed useful. I figured I'd probably get an okay book about whatever artsy thing I liked. Maybe not because everybody told me it was all a scrambled mess. It was. Luckily I stumbled upon "Making Comics: Storytelling secrets of Comics, Manga, and Graphic Novels" by Scott McCloud. Holy mother of god people, you need to check this out. I probably learned more in 25 pages than I had in a year.  

You have to understand. I never rec things (homoerotic stories on tumblr... maybe... not all the time...). When I'm recommending a 'how to book' (and I do have a few) you better get your hands on it. It's excellent for beginners and pros as a refresher.

The format of the book is also genius.

Okay that's enough of my ranting. In other news I have successfully gotten 3 friends into Doctor Who.
